You can load this card in INR, and use it at any VISA-accepting merchant in the world, including in India. No matter where you use your Niyo card, there will be zero markup charges.

Your INR will get auto converted into the currency of the country you would be using the card at. Our card works in over 150 countries.

Niyo applies the VISA exchange rate. The VISA exchange rate is the forex rate charge by the VISA treasury. This is very close to IBRs (inter-bank rates), or the rate at which banks exchange currency with one another. This is widely known as the lowest possible exchange rate.

You can check the real time currency conversion rate in your Niyo App.
Login to Niyo App> click on “Currency Converter”> Select the country to know the currency rate.

This card can be used to withdraw money from an ATM and can make any in person(POS) or online purchases.

ATM locator will help you to find the ATMs near to you.

Niyo does not impose any fees on ATM withdrawals. However, the bank that the ATM belongs to might have their own fees associated with withdrawals and the charges are up to $7 irrespective of the amount

Even though the customer is debited in the real time on the day of the transaction, the actual settlement process can take up to 2 days. Thus, a small amount of charge may be incurred due to the difference in foreign exchange rates of the 2 days. This will be clearly shown in the transaction section of the app as “Fx Adjustment”

Every transaction that you make will appear in your transaction summary page on the Niyo App. This will give you the full details of your transaction, including the exchange rate that you've been charged.

We suggest that you lock the card to avoid any misuse of your account. Also report any suspicious transaction to our customer support at connect@goniyo.com and we will have this investigated for you.

Dynamic Currency Conversion charges are levied by Merchants who offer customers an option to pay in their home currencies (in your case, INR). However by doing so, fees upwards of 7% on transactions may be charged. We always advise our customers to transact in the local currency of the country they are visiting.

While making a transaction in a foreign currency, i.e. online transactions (ECOM), in personal (POS) or cash withdrawal (ATM), choose the local currency of the country you are visiting. This will ensure there are no DCC charges.

PAN card (original)
Proof of permanent address (original)
Photos of the following to be taken via webcam - Your face
Your signature (original)
5-second video to complete the In-Person-Verification

You can start investing as soon as you have submitted the relevant documents and details.

This can happen in some cases due to network failure at the bank end. In such cases the money automatically gets credited to you within 7 business days by the bank. There's no action to be taken from your side. If you have additional money, then you can try making the payment again after some time.

You cannot invest via credit cards as it is against regulations. The payment options will be mentioned clearly on the payment page.

An auto-pay enables you to automate your SIPs
